The AMD e-Steth connects to a sound card in your PC, digitizes heart and lung sounds, creates a simultaneous phonocardiogram and attaches the data to an email for transmission. When the remote physician opens the email, the application opens automatically and the sounds and phonocardiogram are played back. Internal software filters can be used to attenuate the sound as needed. |
