Inside Sales and Business Development Specialist

Are you passionate about making a difference in the overall revenue of a company? Are you a people-person? AMD Global Telemedicine is looking for an energetic inside sales and business development specialists who will own the responsibility of prospecting, qualifying and generating qualified sales opportunities to support the company's sales team.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a "hunter" attitude. The person in this role will be given a base salary plus incentive-based compensation for their ability to move leads through the funnel to qualified sales opportunities that close.


  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and other marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct research and identify key contacts in new accounts and generate leads for outbound marketing and cold calling.
  • Understand and clearly articulate prospects' individual needs and requirements.
  • Become an expert on products, technology and services in order to have intricate discussions with interested prospects.
  • Perform effective online demos to prospects.
  • Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects within the company's CRM.
  • Obtains required information from new and existing leads and updates all records appropriately.
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  • Ensures handoffs to sales team are successful and exceed customers' satisfaction.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly feedback to management team regarding common themes and trends gathered from prospect needs and suggestions.

  • Minimum 2 years sales, business development or customer service experience.
  • Associate's degree in sales, marketing or related field/experience.
  • Cold calling experience in B2B sales.
  • Strong phone presence and interpersonal skills.
  • Quick learner of technical products and healthcare technology.
  • Adept at developing and maintaining new business relationships.
  • Team player who enjoys the challenge of obtaining new leads.
  • Ability to interact with people on all levels ensuring that all external and internal communication is carried out to a high standard.
  • Ability to organize own workload with excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to create interest and build value by use of a multi-call inside sales process.
  • Highly motivated, driven and results oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment.
  • Will be required to effectively manage all essential job duties and meet assigned deadlines.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required.
