Diane Castelli, RN, MS, MSN, has been the Director of Clinical Training for the past five years. Her leadership
role is providing customers with expertise in clinical consultation, implementation, education and training for
both Telemedicine and Telehomecare applications both nationally and internationally, with global
implementations in Sweden, Botswana, South Africa, China, Canada, Armenia and Puerto Rico. Diane has over
twenty-years of clinical nursing experience including; critical care, emergency department, private home care,
child and adolescent psychiatric care, medical software development, project management, installation and
training. Diane is a graduate of Mount Wachusett College, where she was recently honored as their Alumnus of
the Year and is also a graduate of Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, MA. holding Masters degrees in both
Communications and Forensic Nursing. Previously, she had been a training manager and consultant for the
development and education of anesthesia and emergency department medical software applications for LifeCare
Technologies, Tampa, FL.
Diane's Telehealth background began in 1996 as a member of the American Telemedicine Association and she has
participated as a faculty member for education of telemedicine medical peripherals for the University of
Vermont Telemedicine Programs. She has provided numerous Telehealth, Telemedicine and Telenursing presentations
to many healthcare organizations in the United States, Europe, Africa and US and Foreign Militaries, physician
specialties, nursing informatics, public health departments, homecare agencies and nursing schools. She has
served as secretary of the Telenursing Special Interest Group for the American Telemedicine Association.
Personal interests include; quantitative nursing research and documentation, forensic nursing, providing
healthcare in Third-World countries and travel with her family.
