Introduction To better protect your privacy, AMD provides this notice explaining its
online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your
information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, AMD makes it
available on every page of our site, particularly at every point where personally
identifiable information may be requested.
Your Privacy Your privacy is important to AMD. Our commitment to privacy guides
every decision AMD makes about how, where, and when to collect information. The
personal information we collect helps us help you have the most enriching experience on
the AMD website and to provide you with information about the best telemedicine
products and services. We’re constantly striving to improve our site and services. Your
shared information helps us make these improvements.
Earning and keeping your trust is of primary importance to AMD. We pledge to protect your privacy. Be assured that the
information you share with AMD is kept strictly confidential and secure, and that AMD will never sell, distribute, or
otherwise misuse this information.
How We Keep Your Information Secure AMD has advanced security measures in
place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We
use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for the areas of our site where we ask you to
provide personally identifiable information. You can tell you’ve entered one of these
areas when you look at the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) in your browser’s address
bar and see it has "https://" before the rest of the Web address. The "s" means that page
is hosted from a secured server. We use secured servers for our Design Center pages, as
well as all the other pages where confidential contact/registration or credit card
information is provided to AMD.
SSL allows AMD to assure that the personal information you give us will be transmitted
safely because the information is encrypted. Encryption involves systematic scrambling
of numbers and letters so that if someone managed to intercept a digital packet of data,
then s/he would not be able to use the data.
Our product and other information areas are hosted from servers that do not use SSL. Since we do not collect personal
information in these areas, using regular servers allows us to provide a quicker visitor experience. Encrypting
information, as we do in the "https://" areas, makes the process of sending information across the Internet much slower.
Unsecured pages have URLs that begin with http://.
You may encounter a standard warning that many browsers display when a visitor moves from a "secured" page to an
"unsecured" page. Usually, when you encounter such a warning at AMD, it means that you are moving from an
"https://" to an http:// page.
Our site meets stringent security and privacy standards for both e-commerce and personal
information. Providing a secure website experience is one of our greatest priorities at
AMD. If you see other browser warnings or error messages concerning the security of
our site, please Contact Us. Include the specific wording you saw and the URL of the
web-page at AMD where you encountered the message (most easily accomplished by
copying the URL in the “address” toolbar). Providing AMD with these details helps
AMD to know if you’ve encountered a technical difficulty or a standard warning like the
one described above.
Personal Information Gathered
Contact Information We collect information about how to reach you at the
time you contact AMD, or when you register to use an AMD service. Providing us with
your name, email address, telephone number and other information allows AMD to
contact you if there is an identified problem with any product.
Order Processing Information You may submit credit card or billing information to us in order to
process a purchase order. This information is maintained on a secured basis.
Design Center Information AMD is available to help you plan your successful
telemedicine program. All pages in the Design Center where the you enter information
are secured pages. AMD will not share this information with any party without the
registrant’s express consent. AMD personnel may review this information to provide
assistance in the planning of your telemedicine program.
Site Traffic and Usage Patterns Like many other Web sites, we also collect
information about you and your use of our site by employing cookies and Web server
logs. Cookies are small computer files we transfer to your computer’s hard drive. These
small text files help us personalize content on our pages—this is how we’re able to
present information of greatest interest to you when you visit the site.
Reviewing our server logs and our customers' use of cookies helps us statistically monitor how many people are
using our site and for what purpose. These reports help us to identify the greatest areas of interest and help
us to continually improve our site.
Only authorized AMD personnel have access to Web server logs, cookie utilization data, and purchase history
information. These employees are held to strict confidentiality and security policies regarding disclosure of
customer identity or personal information.
Our Privacy Guarantee AMD is the sole collector and owner of information that
AMD collects. We will not give, sell, rent, or loan any identifiable personal information
to any third party, unless legally required to do so. AMD will not voluntarily enter any
agreements which require disclosure of this information. AMD may share non-personal,
summary, or aggregate customer data, with all personal identifying information removed,
with partners and other third parties.
Exceptions AMD will not otherwise use or disclose any of your personally identifiable information,
except to the extent reasonably necessary: (i) to correct technical problems and malfunctions and to
technically process your information; (ii) to protect the security and integrity of our website; (iii) to
protect our rights and property and the rights and property of others; (iv) to take precautions against
liability; and (v) to the extent required by law or to respond to judicial process.

review the privacy policies and practices of other websites, as we cannot control or be responsible for their
privacy practices.

our website's home page so our users are aware of what information we collect, use and disclose. We will
collect, use and disclose a user's personally identifiable information in accordance with the Privacy Policy
that was in effect when such information was collected, except that if you furnish information to us after a
change in our Privacy Policy, all information shall be governed by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time
