Training ProgramsAppropriate training of telemedicine personnel results in increased utilization of the system, improved data collection capabilities, and greater confidence in diagnosis when relying on data collected through telemedicine technologies. Overwhelmingly, successful telemedicine programs underscore the importance of training to achieve success. AMD provides complete training support for our customers. The following training programs are available from AMD (bilingual specialists also available).
User Training: Medical Devices & Software
User training focuses on the clinicians or nurses who will be using the equipment to do a clinical patient exam.. Proper use of the medical devices is a key factor in the long-term success of telemedicine programs. Solid training can overcome the lack of familiarity with new technologies, or an initial reluctance to rely on telemedicine technologies to make diagnosis and treatment decisions particularly in the early stages when volumes are at their lowest.
|On-Site||AMD personnel will come to your facility (based on schedule availability) and provide a full day of training on the AMD products of your choice. Training includes how to use our medical devices properly and (if purchased) how they integrate with our telemedicine software technology. This highly interactive training program emphasizes hands-on use of each device and is designed around the devices you have selected for your program. AMD provides step-by-step instruction on all aspects of clinical device operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.|
|Video Conference||The next best thing to being there. You have the video conferencing facility - make maximum use of your resources with this popular training option. AMD provides video conference training from its home office direct to your telemedicine program facility. As with on-site training, AMD personnel will provide step-by-step instruction on all aspects of device operation and trouble-shooting. Video conferencing training offers the side benefit of getting the trainee to use the technology as part of the training.|
On-Site or Video Conference: Technical training focuses on assuring that your technical staff has the knowledge to implement and support your program as well as the users of your telemedicine tools and services. Well trained support staff contributes to the technical success of your program as well as the confidence of your users.
